Intrepid is the only independent commercial software for radiometrics that allows all parts of the airborne acquisition of gamma ray spectroscopy, to be processed using whole of spectral methods to the last step.
This approach was pioneered by Dr Brian Minty at Geoscience Australia and in close collaboration with him, Intrepid has kept the commecial implementation of those new approaches coming over the last 15 years.
In recent times, Intrepid distributes sample spectra for those groups that do not have the resources to acquire them during surveying. In particular, we distribute sample pure radon, potassium, thorium spectra. We also distribute an aircraft spectrum, that can be substituted, after an energy calibration for your data, if this is missing.
Radon correction of data remains something of an art, due to the transitory nature of this source of error.
The up-to-date training course gives sample actual datasets for you to try, and also capture the benefits of other geophysicists.
Almost all variations on workflow practice can be found in the tool set.
