A new Intrepid Tool ISI Manager has been introduced. The ISI tool facilitates the process of Cataloging data for Jetstream.
In order to run the tool, go to the location where you have installed Intrepid and go into the bin directory. Run isimanager.exe
The ISI manager is very similar in look and feel to the Intrepid Manager(jfmanager.exe). The ISI manager is use to edit the ISI files before running the acquire_catalog.exe to catalog the data. The ISI Manager modifies the Jetstream Block inside a .isi file. The Jetstream block helps the Cataloging process.
Before you want to edit the ISI file, make sure you have loaded the SITE.dat file.

Important keywords from SITE file which are used by ISI Manager are
GRID_DELIVERED_FILE_EXTENSIONS.bsq;.ers;.tif
VECTOR_DELIVERED_FILE_EXTENSIONS..DIR;.gdb
FILE_DELIVERED_FILE_EXTENSIONS.pdf;.doc;.zip
THEME_SELECTIONSRadiance;Magnetics;Radiometrics;EM;Gravity;DEM;Geophysics;RadiometricsGEOTIFF;MagneticsGEOTIFF
EXTRA_DELIVERED_FILE_EXTENSIONS.xml;.style;.shp.xml
EXTRA_CATALOG_COLUMN_NAMESTheme;LABEL;Date;Price;CSDATA;RenderStyle;ReportFormat;CELLSIZE;LICENCENO;DATEADDED;NEWONE
ISI Manager only processes .isi files which are mentioned in the following keywords
GRID_DELIVERED_FILE_EXTENSIONS, VECTOR_DELIVERED_FILE_EXTENSIONS and FILE_DELIVERED_FILE_EXTENSIONS. File formats not mentioned in these keywords will be ignored
ISI Manager derives the theme Selection drop down box from the Keyword THEME_SELECTIONS.
In order to view the information for a particular dataset, click on the dataset, click on the Jetstream tab.

The ISI manager shows the current values for that dataset. In order to change the information for a particular dataset, click on the value, make the change and press ENTER to commit change back to the .isi file. The values can be inputted directly or by making a selection in the drop down box.
You can also perform bulk theme changes by selecting multiple datasets(holding ctrl key and clicking) and then right clicking and selecting Bulk Set Theme from the popup menu.

In the case where you want to catalog documents(.doc,.zip,.pdf files), we know that the location information is not contained within the documents, to catalog this data you have to copy the location from some other datasets.
For example you have got a grid and a accompanying document. You can catalog the document using the location information from the grid.
Right click the dataset from which you want to copy the location information, click Copy Region Info.

Then select the datasets you want to copy the location information to, right click on the dataset and select Paste Region Info from the popup menu.

You can also perform location information changes to multiple dataset by selecting multiple datasets(holding ctrl key and clicking) and then right clicking and selecting Paste Region Info from the popup menu.
ISI manager also highlights catalogable datasets in green color to assist data administrator.

ISI manager also allows data administrator to run Acquire_Catalog in a selected directory. To do this, highlight a directory from your repository and from File menu select "Run Acquire Catalog in selected directory".

ISI manager also allows data administrator to Geolocate files. To do this, highlight a directory from your repository and from File menu select "Geolocate files in selected directory".

A new window will popup where user can search for files with particular extensions. Tick the extensions you want to include. By default the recursive checkbox is clicked which means the search will be done recursively. Click on search and list of files will be shown in the file list panel. Tick the files you want to geolocate. Select the datum and projection from the process panel. Hit apply and the selected files will be geolocated.
File Type checkboxes are populated from SITE.dat.
